The current world record for the most pull-ups in one minute was set on 11th October 2015 by Michael Eckert a United States Marine from Orlando, Florida, aged 24.

Michael managed a whopping 50 pulls ups in one minute beating the previous world record of 44 pull-ups in a minute. He achieved his superman pull up world record whilst stationed in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi, Japan.

Michael is a keen rock climber and appeared on America Ninja Warrior in 2012 and again in 2014, both times making it all the way to the National Finals in Las Vegas, taking on the legendary Mount Midoriyama.

The world record for the number of chin-ups in a minute was set on 20th December 2008 by Guy Schott who lives in Santa Rosa, California he managed a total of 57 chin-ups.
