This is a variation to the basic squat and the Pistol Squat, whereby you squat with only one leg. Once you’ve mastered the Pistol Squat and you can perform the exercise whilst maintaining good form, you can use the Smith machine at your gym to add weight. The Smith machine will also help with your balance so you’ll be able to add more weight and not have to worry so much about stability.
