This is a variation of the basic squat, make sure you have a good understanding of the basic squat mechanics before attempting this exercise.

Plant your knees and toes on the ground with your arms above your head. Whilst driving your arms forward to gain momentum, this should give you enough force to be able to jump and land on your feet in the squat position.
